many opportunities to remediate land for the good of the community which are not
feasible for for-profit developers.
2. Seek out, research, support and at times acquire and consolidate fragmented
emerging technologies which can enable greater efficiency and success in Brownfield
remediation and Restorative Development.
3 Assist in Disaster relief where human and natural disasters have contaminated the
land and where such contamination can be remediated and restored to use in the
affected communities.
4. Enable Public/Private partnerships where government can work together with private
non-profit and for-profit nongovernmental organizations for the mutual enablement of
Brownfield remediation and Restorative Development.
5. Provide educational resources to further the Public and Industry knowledge and
understanding of Brownfield Remediation and Restorative Development. Provide a
vehicle to conduct seminars, conferences and workshops which can assist Public and
Industry elements in the furtherance of Brownfield Remediation and Restorative
Development.
6. Conduct policy and community level research furthering the goal of Brownfield
remediation and Restorative Development. Provide a vehicle for Grant administration in
these areas.
